I cried a bunch watching Frieren.
This series is amazing. My favorite anime hands down. So brilliant to poke fun at some fantasy tropes while also being a solid fantasy story on its own. We are re-watching it with our older kids now.

It is! I watch the English dubs for most modern anime because they're generally very good, just finished watching the second season recently. Really enjoyed it. While it wasn't as peak as the first one for me, it still was absolutely done superbly and remains in the top tier of anime.
