How do I make a song play throughout the presentation starting from a slide and until the end? I can only make it play on one slide and by the time I reach the next slide it stops.
just scroll to the slide you want to start at (usually the first), click the little projector button and just left click you way through.
If you're still experiencing difficulties, try making a new test presenation and see if it has the same problems. If it does, you may want to consider re-installing the program.

I ran into this problem before.
What you do is put the trigger in to play the same song on every slide. I'm pretty sure it just plays through the song and doesn't restart on every slide.
