    Unhappy No Sound !

    My computer has no sound, I just recently formated it, and loaded everything fine, but no sound. Can someone help me please?

    Have you loaded the right drivers for the sound card? Perhaps using the CD that came with the computer?


    Also check in Device Manager (Right click My Computer, Properties, then either Device Manager or Hardware > Device Manager) - it should say if there's any problems with the sound card there too.

    Yeah, it'd be nice if you could say, if you knew what it was that was the problem that is - I can then remember it for next time someon eelse has a problem since it may be a similar case to yours

    it was just a stupid CD that I needed, I can't remember what it is called tho, sorry
