General summing up of Eyes on Final Fantasy:

"An unusual message board in which members will offer sacrificial animals/humans to an unknown deity called 'Cid'. This 'Cid' does not like to be referred to as 'Bruckner'. The aforementioned 'Bruckner' is supposedly all powerful, and demands to be hailed regularly. An explanation for these strange actions has not yet been put forward, but I am hoping that all will be revealed in time."

My conclusions are: Cid = Pagan god.

Brucker = Power crazed fool.
