One of your ads leaves behind a virus, I got an Alert From McAfee, and it happened a few times, only while I was at eoff. And the file was in my temp folder, I dont know wich ad does it but it might be a good idea to do something about it.

Which ad specifically does this, or what "error" or deny message do you get exactly?I don't get anything of the sort whilst browsing this site.
EDIT: pfft, that's coz I blocked eoff's adservers from my PC xD
Well, basically it says:
This files (insert location of temp folder here) Contains a virus, What do you want to do
Which page is this on, if you know?
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
I'll reenable ads on my PC for the mean while and see if the same happens to me, since I also use McAfee .![]()
IVe seen it while browsing around the main oage an in the forums...
OOC: Not to be picky... but isn't it McAfree, not McAfee? Maybe I'm wrong.
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
You are wrong, its not free
O_o
This is something GSN will have to deal with. We don't put up any ads.
Update, It happened again:
File infected is: C:\WINDOWS\TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES\CONTENT.IE5\3HPN5R3S\KZPOP[1].HTM
The was one Kazino on the net Ad and on from Gorilla Nation
This is probably not right...but can't you just delete all the files in that temp folder? All it contains is cookies for the pages you've visited, correct?
I can, but the files gets re-created and deleted again...
This may have happened to me before, though I have no proof what so ever of it happening.
I've never had this experience. Could it be that you have another virus that's infecting .htm files on your computer, or something? I know nothing of viruses. I do know that sometimes virus scanners give false alarms though. But I've never had a virus report from anything from EoFF myself. I have Norton 2002 Professional.
It's possible that this virus is something on BN's computer that's infecting files in the cache, however, I'm still notifying GameSquad. Better safe than sorry. We have a *lot* of people who come to our community, and I'd really not want to see us attacked by a virus.
