Default Photoshop Beginner's Guide

Yeah, I downloaded Photoshop (7.0) last night and I have no idea how to use it. Does anyone have a link to a beginner's gude that could help me?

The best way to learn how to use Photoshop is to use Photoshop. But I think this here is a pretty nice-looking tutorial. I didn't read the whole thing, but it's a start. You should also take a look at Webmonkey, which has the famous Photoshop Crash Course, but that deals more with 6.0-6.5, I think. I lot of the stuff should still be relevant, though.

You REALLY have to learn a lot of it for yourself. Just experiment. It's a really bad-ass program.

Givie it a year. It'll be like your right arm with enough practice.

Neato. I made one, but it's 600K (?) anyone know how to shrink the size?

(I'd attach it, but the file extension isn't allowed)

Photoshop (PSD) files do get large, yes You can save the finished thing in different formats though, such as BMP or PNG, just use the Save As or Export As option (can't remember which)
