I think that it would be pointless making some sort of hack to change everyone's join dates. The term newbie is used mostly on new people who haven't really got a grasp of things yet or type in n00b speak. Once they stop, they're just like everyone else, they are simply newer people. In any case, joining a forum and making a newbie thread sorta labels you a newbie. In any case, some people have never been newbies, or just newbies for a little while. I think I never was one in the forums. I was in chat though for the first fortnight or so. It's about the way people act that influences what other people think of them, I don't actually know anyone who'll mention join dates unless provoked.
