Default Editing MP3's??

    Can it be done? I know it's a dumb question but I'm wondering if it can be done. I have this great song, the only problem is, another song plays at very end for 2 secs. and it's really annoying!

    I don't want to redownload again so...... can it? how? where/what program do I have to use? *needs help badly*

    There are some editors that let you eidt MP3 files. Try searching www.download.com . I don't know of any offhand, but I've used one or two in the past. I don't have them installed any longer though.

    There's a lot more WAV editors out there than MP3 - you could use Winamp to write the MP3 to a WAV on your HD, edit the WAV, then use Lame or something to change it back to MP3

    It'd lose a lot of quality that way though, wouldn't it? Is MP3 lossy compression? I thought it was.

    I think you can edit MP3s with MP3 Surgeon. Not sure how it's spelled actually.

    Yeah, but any sort of editing other than dropping audio frames from the MP3 file would result in that same quality loss.

    I use Nero's editor. Not quite sure if you can resave it as MP3 though >_<;;;
