Private Messaging: Preview?

This may have been brought up before, but I think I'd like a preview button for PMs. I mean, you can't edit them after you've sent them, so it'd be kind of nice to know how it looks before you send it. I don't think that'd require anything major, but I don't really know...so yeah, just putting it forward as an idea, if other people feel the same way.

Apparently, it would require a hack, but I can't tell you how many times I've sent a PM and found that I screwed something up. It pissed me off to no extent. I understand the reluctance of the admins to hack the board, but this is one hack I think would be worthwhile. *nod*

Why don't you just click the reply button on a thread and put what to put in your PM into the reply field then click the preview button to make sure it comes out right. Wouldn't that also work?

This hack is not required if there is already a solution.

Yeah, ed, I could do that, but it's super-complicated, and most people wouldn't think of doing that.

I'm guessing same as always, 50. What's the difference? Just delete some. Or, if you need them to quote/refer to or whatever, just delete the sent ones.

The 350 message limit includes "Sent Items". For God's sake, clean out your Sent Items folder!

I had 458 PMs before I cleaned out my Sent Items folder. Now I have something like 30.

I still think it'd be more important to have an edit preview. I like to edit and see if I'm gonna get it right next time instead of making it look even worse >_<;;
