A couple minutes ago, I was at the FFIX section, looking at the abilities lists, when I decided to stop by the forum. So of course, I clicked the forum button. Imagine my surprise when the forum button linked to MasterBates.com, a porn-linking resource.

I just wanna if something really weird happened, and i'm the only one to experience it, if this was a joke by the webmaster, or what?

Um, maybe there's a trojan/program/whatchamacallit that's replacing legitimate links with links to porn sites? Other than that, this is something that the staff will have to check out, I guess. (Wasn't there an incident about ads for porn sites a while back? Or was that somewhere else?)

Yup there it is. The weird thing though is that IE thinks it's going to the forum index and then at the last second goes to the mentioned site. Bug? Misdirected link? I have no clue.

What the hell? I swear to GOD I checked all the forum links. I am so pissed. Anyway, it's fixed now.

The problem is, Sean used to own the eyesonff.net URL because eyesonff.com was taken by "someone else", shall we say. Then eventually Sean bought eyesonff.com and converted the site over so all the URLs pointed to the new URL, because eyesonff.com is spiffier. But apparently he didn't convert them all and there are still remnants of the old links. Well it seems someone a porn site bought eyesonff.net now. So don't go to that URL. Hopefully BOU or someone will find all the remaining eyesonff.net links and get rid of them.

Well Unne, you're right on that one. A quick look at eyesonff.net revealed it to be that MasterBates place. Though it is kinda of funny that the FFIX's forum link was to a place called MasterBates, when not too long ago, there was a discussion about naming Vivi "Bates" so Steiner would call him "Master Bates"...Weeeeeiiiiirrrddd...
