Things to note:

Del Snizz was oh so very popular.
Proto was voted Best Newbie.

No exdee smilie existed, thank God. Not even sure if these awards were before the reign of =P, which was also popular for a long time.

Interesting, although I don't like seeing the same people's names appear over and over again in all of the categories. Having said that, I suppose they're the only ones who qualify for the awards, due to the fact that they post so much.

I wish everyone well in these awards. I shall attempt to vote for the people who I think deserve the awards, rather than just picking the names/people I like. I advise any other member to do the same.

I was thinking of the Irony of that. I always come so close to the win but never get it. People are just so jealous of me that they don't want me to win. They make more accounts just to spite me. They will never know the true power of edczxcvbnm!
