Standard PCMCIA Card Modem

Hey, I'm having a whole lot of problems with my PC Card on my laptop (just using my dads at the moment). For some odd reason it wasn't working, so i made a new COM port for it and then it started working fine again. Anyways, the next day i loaded my laptop up and it comes up with "found new hardware" which would be the PC card, anyways I don't have a CD to install the driver or anything like that and so it wont let me connect to the internet. Can someone help me? or at least tell me why it just decided to uninstall itself?

When it asks you what the hardware is, select Standard PCMCIA Modem.
