It's an ORPG thing similar to Magestar, and at one point consisted of quite a collection of EoFF oldbies (ie, Unne, Sean, Britt, Bleys, Elyse, Usa, BOU, Raistlin, NIAP, etc. etc.). It's been 'reborn' a couple of times, the most recent can be found on ezBoard. Well... unless you count the place that the ezBoard links to, which is utter crap. That was a stillborn child if ever there was one.
But yeah, it's neat. I can't imagine they'd stop you joining, but I can imagine they'd force you into many embarrassing situations or at least make fun of you and/or your character in many, many ways.
EDIT: At one point, it was linked to at the bottom of EoFF, along with FFL and possibly something else that I forget. But yeah, that should be done again. 'twould be nifty.
