Another PM question

Ok ok before you people start bashing me, let me explain myself.

I know very well that everyone is having trouble with their pms and the admins are trying their best to fix everything. Still, how is it possible to receive pms while the whole system is supposedly not working?

I remember having one message (still can't be read) and just minutes before I decided to make this thread, I received another message and opted to click the 'Private Message' button thinking everything's back to normal only to realize that..... *sighs*

How is that possible exactly? Hmm? *confuse* How will I read my pm's if ever without anyone else knowing about it?

The PM system is fine, just the page that displays the PM's has a bit of code incorrectly written. The only way to fix that is to change the actually private.php file and that cannot be done because the FTP information seems to have been changed. We're still waiting for our hosts to contact us.
