Black Mages should be black. Blue was just a solution to the technical limitations of the NES that became tradition. The Black Mage, in my oppinion was meant to be pictured alot like the Nazgul from LoTR.

Never know. With how I'm feeling I could very well be the first Snot Mage. As for an ultimate spell... The Snot Mage coughs and shakes in a corner, going from hot to cold. It may not kill anything but it'll sure as hell scare them off if they're worried about their health.

Mages don't need to have clothes with color corresponding to what type of magic they use, but black mages are black. Look at their bodies, not their clothes. I would find it pretty bland and stupid and horrible if they had black clothes on top of black visages.Originally posted by Garland
