Well I just downloaded Nesticle from the main site here and for some odd reason it's not running properly when I try to play FFI (which I also downloaded from the EoFF main site) so anyone have a clue as to why their not working?

Can you elaborate a bit? Do you get any error messages? What version are you using? *Can't be bothered to check the site version ^^* What sort of problem, ie, audio, video, others?
Someone on the other thread seems to have had a problem with the site Nesticle too. Try and find REW, it works nice, just the save states aren't always working, if indeed they ever do work.
NESTen rocks, too. Much as I love ][ellbent (of Bloodlust Software), I'm afraid NESticle is no longer the best NES emulator extant.
You can get NESTen from Zophar's Domain.
Ummm Zophars Domain? Ummm I should mention I rarely go to new sites besides the one I go to already cause I'm just stupid like that so al ink would be helpful. Thanks.

It is by no means a new site. It's a couple years older than EoFF, anyways.
(Just as a sidenote, it's also the centre of the emulation universe)
Yes, NESticle is outdated, and the project has been discontinued. If you have an old/really slow computer, however, NESticle is probably the best way to go.
NESticle also has the best name...
