    Default NTSC/PAL VCR conversion

Just curious, what would I need to play NTSC Videos on a PAL VCR? Anything more then the right lead?

A VCR capable of reading those tapes, since NTSC is stored different on tape to PAL video I've seen VCRs capable of reading both formats, as well as variations from country to country in each format too, and for converting formats on the fly e.g. play a NTSC video and output PAL for a PAL-only TV etc., but as far as I know, most VCRs can't do that, they only do the format for the country you bought them in.

:/ that's a shame, I figured if an English psx could play US/Jap games with the right tools you could do the same with a VCR. Thanks anyway
