    Default MSN Messenger Problems..

Or net problems? ^_^ A little while back, I sent my computer off to get it fixed, and they had to put in a new hard-drive, and when I got it back, I couldn't send things on msn messenger, or mirc anymore, but I can recieve things. I can upload things perfectly, but.. sending things, that wont work, and it is a pain in the butt. Does anyone know what is wrong, and how I can fix this? Thanks ahead of time for any help. :)

I'm not fully sure but the only thing I can think of that might fix it is to re download the programs and then reinstall them.

I have done that, but it didn't help at all. I also have Windows Messenger, and it does the exact same thing. I am wondering if its something I forgot to input when I made my internet connection.

Maybe it's something with your firewall/router?

Yeah if you have a router I think Linksys has a fix for it.

Connects computers so both can access the internet without getting a another modem, etc.

Have you tried looking at your ISPs help and support pages for clues? There's stuff on how to configure your router there (if you have one, which I assume you might have if you're not using the 56k service of theirs)
Problems playing downloaded videos? Try CCCP
