i just wanted to know what age group is the eight grade cause vincent06 mentioned it, in new zealand we dont have grades, i was just wondering

Eighth grade, if the US school system goes anything like the Australian, would be aroun 12 - 14 years old. But hey, I'm 14 and I'm in Year 10. I'll be 15 soon, but enough about that. HTH.

In Philippines, the educational system is different.
In Grade 6, the age bracket is 12-13 with some cases of 10 and 11.
We don't have Grades 7 to Grade 10. Rather, we proceed to high school after Grade 6.
Here some age brackets in High School:
1st Year = 13-14 yrs old
2nd Year = 14-15 yrs old
3rd Year = 15-16 yrs old
4th Year = 16 and beyond
Good thing that I have graduated at the age of 16. Now I am 20 years old (fourth year college but I am not graduating yet! BS Information Technoloy has only 4 years) and studying Information Technology.
