Have the re-done soundtracks for FF1&2 PSX been released (on CD)? I'd LOVE to hear a re-arranged version of Join Them!

Yes, they have, and a decent soundtrack it is too But what is Join Them? I don't see a track by that name in my copy.
You'd probably want to visit the gamingforce DC hub to get the lot quickly though
It's FF2's overworld theme, it is at once melancholy and beautiful. I think it's one of the best overworld themes that's ever been used in a FF game, if not the best. It really conveys the mood of sorrow that you're supposed to experience for the heroes as well as the direction that the world seems to be headed in.
Does anyone know a reliable website which sells FF OSTs, overseas by credit card, at a reasonable price?
Since Gamingforce Audio went down, I've been getting desperate for albums such as 'Final Fantasy Pray', 'FFIV: Celtic Moon', and some of the other arranged works.
also great CDs, let me see what I can see...
Well, if you can't find it here: http://www.toysnjoys.com/ff_music.html
you'll be hard pressed to find it. No FFO OST though
I'll keep looking....
found it here: http://www.videogamedepot.com/shop/p...ic&PB=&PO=&LS=
along with a few more titles. Isn't the intermanet a wonderful thing?

What's the "gamingforce DC hub"? I need to know, because I don't have the money for the soundtracks, but the remixes are beautiful...
vgmcentral.no-ip.com
You need to connect using Direct Connect or DC++ (I'd recommend the latter for that particular hub), and need to make sure you're sharing at least one video game album yourself to join that hub. The rest should be self explanatory
Also, place "VGM" in the start of your description when you're in the hub.
I think they've increased the minimum VGM album share to two, but don't quote me on that.

Well Big D I buy all my music from www.gamemusic.com. As for resonable. I guess that depends on what you think you should be paying for the music, so I dunno. Here's the link to the FF series soundtracks though if you're interested.

One of the best places I've come across is:
http://gkworld.zoovy.com/
Their prices are good, excellent selection of FF soundtracks, many of which they also sell on eBay, and I've gotten a few from them from eBay for a few bucks cheaper too.
"Have you ever killed anyone?"
"...Yeah, but they were all bad."

True Lies
http://www.animecastle.com is also a pretty good place to try.
Toys 'n' Joys is AWESOME! I live about ten minutes away from the store here in Honolulu, so I go there all the time. Chances are if they don't have something you want or if they can't get it, the item doesn't exist or you'd be better off flying to Japan to hunt for it yourself! Meaning... those guys haven't failed to get me any special orders I've asked for.
Yeah, TnJ is awesome. They still sell NGPC stuff. I don't think any stores around me ever sold an NGPC to begin with, let alone well after the company has died.
I heard a few of them theme songs from the soundtrack, from my sources, quite good.
Hey Big D, Do you post at Cgshock?
~EvenAngelsFall
You are Seifer!_You're a bad-boy (or bad-girl) loner whose
cool, surly image can be very intriguing to the opposite sex.
Deep down, you feel really screwed by the world in general.
It's like no one understands who you really are. Even you.
Take the Final Fantasy 8 Test here!
Never even heard of Cgshock. But since my name is so unspeakably cool, it's hardly surprising that there may be a few imitations lurking around.
Actually "Big D" is a very common nickname... but I'm the only 'me' on the net - I don't post at any other fora or message boards.
Final Fantasy music CD's
That's a direct link to www.animenation.com Final Fantasy section. I find that store very good. It has a wide selection of products for a reasonable price. You can find practically any FF soundtrack there and they ship worldwide.
