Questions...
1. Is this the REAL cover?

2. Do you need a mod chip for your PS2 to play Japanese games on your American PS2?
-
1. yes (in japan, all of the ff games are always in all-white case, because us japanese people don't really like having stuff on the cover. Plus, it gives you that FF kind of a feel). For your information, on the back of FFX-2 case, there's a picture of Yuna with guns with Rikku & Paine in the back in shadows (that one poster), and shows some pictures of actual gameplay. I'm very confident that the american ffx-2 case will have a picture on the cover.
2.) yes

Sounds about right to me.

1. Yes
2. No
And you Americans might not have to wait until November if the rumours of the English release date are true, you just import the English version and you get it before the American release date.
HARF
nah they'd still need a chip because they have NTSC disks and we have PAL.
heh It's funny to see people in america getting anoyed with this because this is one of the few game's that *COULD* come out in europe before america.
In my experiance only people in england get annoyed with this.
ahhh the sweet sweet smell of justice.
alright Im finished
You don't need a chip whatsoever, all you need is a fkip top lid with a couple boot disks, they work fine with my FFX-2 copy so that's the best thing to do because anyone can install it and it's much safer then chpping your ps2.
