It's not such a big deal. I think it actually encourages people to pick names based on originality, the sound of 'em, and the 'stories' based around them. ...rather than "Ooh, I know him/her!"

I think we should write essays on the merits of each name voted for.

EDIT: Spuuky, Linus and edcwhtvr all raised a point, though. People such as NeX and Tweety_ch1ck are either long gone or only post three times every three months - meanwhile, Sephex and Spuuky, both regulars with good names, were left out. Look, there are 5,000 + names. I grabbed about 200 or so names. That's not a whole lot of names. I searched throughout the whole freakin list grabbing names. I can't help it if I missed a few good names out of 5,000+ freaking names.

Just asking, man, just asking. I suggest you use the post count / last post functions to do an advanced search with next time, though, it's really nifty
