There's already a game out with the same basic characters, story, and quality. It's called Charlie's Angels.
If you want the petition to have any impact you need to get non-Square lovers to sign the petition. Square knows that everyone in these forums would buy FFIII, so they don't care if we sign a petition or not. Try to advertise your petition on sites that have nothing to do with FF, then Square will see that there is a larger audience that is interested.
Also, making the link to the petition an actual link instead of having to copy and paste it into the browser would also help.
