You have to beat the Hades Cup in Olympus Coliseum I believe. Or Hercules but I'm almost positive it's Hades...

You mean when you first go to the arena and talk to Phil who asks you to move the pedestal for him?
Er what you need to do is move to the right or left side of the Pedestal, and push against it.
(Move your analog stick in the direction of the pedestal. Sora will begin moving his feet with his hands against it, but it won't move. After that go back and talk to Phil. He'll let you start participating in the games.)
