I think there are hidden meaings in this poem thing about FFX. Many people think it's about Sin, but I think It has deeper meaning...

A great terror arose from the deep,
It swept across the land,
A lone past still lingers,
Destiny cannot be denied,
A burden grows heavier,
To the kingdom of the sun,
Across a vast sea,
The journey home begins...

Ok the line: Dead for a thousand years is refeering to the original Zanarkand

It swept across the land: Sin or Ye Yevon

A lone past still lingers: Fayth

Destiny cannot be denied: What happens to Tidus and Yuna

A burden grows heavier: The task of killing Sin

To the kingdom of the sun: Ok here is the complicated one; Tidus means Sun in a japanese dialect, so It's talking about zanarkand, the kingdom were Tidus came from.

Across a vast sea: If you watch after the ending credits Tidus is waking up in a ocean.

The journey home begins: FFX-2 Tidus is coming home!!! ^.^
