    I dont think its rid ee uh because the japanese language doesnt have a "rih" sound, only a "ree" sound

    I've attached a screen shot of the default name that they give her in the japanese version. Translating that into "romanicized" characters it would be "ri-di-a" or "ree-dee-ah" with the soft "r", almost an "l", as it is pronounced in japanese. so it could be Ridia or Lidia, depending upon how you wanted to translate it.

    Yep, that's how i say it.. No ah, like the doctor. just uh.. Rid-ee-uh spoken like a true american. And i doubt the names are pronounced anywhere the same in japanese as they are in English. It could be pronounced like Fuki-kara. WHO KNOWS?! I still think its rid-ee-uh.

    thats funny that you said Rydia is a mistranslation of Lydia because I named her Lydia.

    anyways I know it should be Lid-di-a To more accuratly translate the japanese name But the defualt name was always Rydia Never Lydia....
