Thread: .avi troubles

    Default .avi troubles

I just got Pokemon:Mewtwo returns from Kazaa in .avi format but It won't play for some reason. Is there a reason why? I have my Windows media player set to play every form of media, even .avi. What's wrong here?

Do you have the latest directX? If only the sound plays then that might be why. That happened to me too.

And Mewtwo returns? Grow up man

It doesn't play peroid, and I needed the movie to make a music video to Mewtwo because mewtwo kicks arse. It just won't play period.

Is the video file in DivX format? Try getting the latest DivX video drivers:
    http://www.divx.com/

Other than that, check to see if there are any other video drivers/codecs that you may be missing.

    Sorry to double post...

I got some codecs that will allow t to play, the approxamate time for the whole movie says 1 hour and 3 minutes on the timer but after 1 minute and 44 seconds it stops. Are there any codecs I can use to remedy this?
