In the Thunder Plains when you dodge 200 consecutive bolts, what do they mean by consecutive?
In the Thunder Plains when you dodge 200 consecutive bolts, what do they mean by consecutive?
In a row, without pause. In other words you have to dodge 200 bolts without leaving the area or being hit by a bolt. Miss one and you lose. Sucks I know.
It will take a long time to do it so you got to be patient. So far, my highest is only 135 consecutive bolts. My stupid thumb gets all tense after that many and i miss the next one every time.
Look out!!! We are onto your schemes!!!

It should really be less bolts...or a diffrent mini-game.

I don't know, some people seem to have a knack for it. I got 60-odd on my first try and made it on my second. *shrugs*
If you have trouble, try turning the sound off. It also helps to pause and take a break every 10 bolts or so. Even if you don't feel tense or anything, it really helps.
It also helps to be in a place where you won't move, as in up against a wall.
I say what I think. If you disagree, then that is up to you.
is rin supposed to be at the travel agency there? the only person i see is the girl behind the counter.
rin is there the first time you go there. after that hes not there anymore.

ya that mini game pissed me off just with the thought of doing it i tried it last year and screwed up.
then i done it recently basically my second shot at it an done it easy got about 236 dodges
this information might help people get it
i had :
lights turned off (see flashes better)
sound turned off (had good music playing to keep me awake since i started falling asleep helped pass time as well)
do not look at a character just look at screen as a whole then you will see flash better
go just near the start of thunder plains you will get lighting strikes quick there
took me about 40 minutes at most oh and pause in between a decent number of lighting strikes
eg take a breather between every 20 or 30 strikes for a min![]()
can you save during the 200 consecutive? that would make it a lot easier.

Well, I started this mini game again...so as I counted the bolts I dodged, I realized that I was almost done. ya...and you know how that each time you dodge a bolt, you go back about one step behind you...well...when I was almost finished I stopped my count at 183 bolts...then I lost count. So then I thought that if I dodged a few more I would be finished. So when I dodged more and more, the thunder bolts pushed me out of that area!! But I thought that I probably finished since I dodged a few more. When I looked at my record........it says I dodged 199 consecutive bolts..........I hate this mini game!!! I then became grumpy to my cousin for the rest of the day...(sorry cuz)

There is a place in the thunder planes were u can dodge without getting hit by lightning
in the firts part of the planes walk up the right hand side and u get to a place with a chest the contains/contained a water ball and it has a quactar stone
go into that small area and stand as far toward the bottom of it as u can go
then dodge ! u wont be attacked by monsters at all !
