should i buy ffx?

i am ganna a get a ps2 for my b-day and i get to buy 2 games. i was wondering if i should but ffx? and what should the 2nd game be?

Well you're going to get a lot of varying opinions, and you shouldnt take any of them. What I like may not be what you like, and what someone else likes may not be for you, either. I loved X, and I highly recommened it, but you should simply go out and rent it and another game before you buy them. It'll save you money in the long run.

I loved X, but I did rent it first. It takes getting used to, but it can be really good later on. I would rent it though, because on this board, I've found lots of people who didn't like it much. As for the second game, if you like RPGs, how bout Kingdom Hearts?

ight. thats cool. u should get ff9, its pretty good... at least i thought so. yea, ffx should keep u entertained for a good 60+ hours. i just broke 400 hours, but then again, im a ffx guru, so i hafta know every nook and cranie of the game like it was the back of my hand. but ffx is only 35 bucks now. like lemonation said, kingdom hearts is a good game if u like rpgs. as far as MMORPGs go, u should try everquest online adventures. its like 20 bucks, but u gotta pay 10 bucks a month as a service fee. that will own u, so u shouldnt need another rpg for a while if u get that. it just depends on what kind of games u like/want... feel free to ask if u need clarification on anything. later

It depends on what games you like. If you love rpgs i sugest you get X and devil may cry 2 (since its the first ps2 game thats 2 cd's and its a great rpg)

pretty much. 9 and 10 will keep u busy for a long inn time. cuz lets see, its about 60 hours on 9, and 40 on 10 (without sidequests), so u should be pretty entertained with those.
