Patches for FFVII and FFVIII...

Hi there,
I'm old Geforce2-user, I tried to download the patches for FF7 and FF8 on your site, but:
-for FF7, a .DLL file is missing to use the patch
-for FF8, files from both patches (for Geforce and non-Geforce users) are corrupted.

I tried several times to download them, but still the same problem each time.
Guess the problem comes from the site guys...

Would anyone help me fix it up?

What exactly do those patches do, anyway? You think they'd be able to cure my random "complete program closedown" problem?
