The only time i renamed a character FF7 was when I named Barret "Chunky Poo" sickening and extremly stupid, i know. But That made me laugh when ever other characters would called out his name.
If you ever want to try this, when you play FF9 name Vivi "Dumbass" and then the Rat kid will say "Dumbass? That's a funny name!".
