Default How many images are allowed in my signature?

Hey guys, I'm new here but I would like to say that I'm impressed with what I've seen so far. However, I do have a question regarding my signature. How many images are allowed in my signature? Also, when/how can I have a custom avatar? Thanks in advance to whomever answers this for me.

You can have as many images as you want, (not too many, use common sense) but you can't have your entire sig exceed a total of 250 pixels in height and can't stretch the tables in 800 * 600 resolution. The file size of your entire sig cannot exceed 50kb.

You can have a custom avatar as soon as you register. At the bottom of the avatar gallery there is a place to upload your avatar.

Actually, vBulletin makes you have to make at least one post before allowing you to have a custom avatar, but since you've made a thread, there you go

I think I've got 8 pictures in my signature, but since the total of them all combined is under 50k, that's fine

The signature restrictions are listed to the direct left of the signature field.

It's 20 bytes too large in filesize for these forums Try saving it with a lower quality than 100 or 99, you can't see that much detail in such a small picture anyway

However, your signature is not sorted - it's too tall, because you've put too much text in it. You'll have to remove one of those test things, unless you want an admin to see it and replace the whole thing for you instead Also, the images are too large - the top one alone is 51k, and with the other two as well, it's too big - it's the total you want to look at and keep under 50k, not the size of one of them on it's own. Again, resave the images in a lower quality format and/or remove some of them or you'll find an admin doing it for you

If you have only text in your sig, there's pretty much a 100% chance that it's under 50 KB. Then you only need to look at the total height. If you have pictures, right-click on each one and select Properties. Add up the file sizes of all the pictures that you have. If their total file size is under or equal to 50 KB (51200 bytes), and the total height is under 250 pixels, you'll be fine.
