No, you can't. You're probably thinking of another one. Elmdor's sword is the Masamune, which can't be bought anywhere. Stealing it from him is the only way to get it. There are two buyable swords called the Murasame (restores HP) and the Muramasa (does damage). You're probably thinking of the Muramasa, because it's available later than the Murasame.
