I prefer PSXMC when it comes to converting audio/video into Windows readable formats, I find it's easier to use and more stable other than when randomly jumping around when previewing something. Should be on the same page as Unnes link.

    Default .STR extractor

I have a converter for .str files now I need a program to extract them from the PSX disc. It's Megaman X4 if anyone was wondering.

Er, if you got PSXMC as I mentioned in your other thread, you don't even need to extract the STR files - the program can scan the whole CD for all videos and audio streams it recognises and tells them to you anyway. Heck, it even works on non-str files or discs with hidden files and streams in them, as long as they're in the right format, since it doesn't care about the files themselves

EDIT: I should merge it with your other thread
