Taking into consideration that Girls Gone Wild is all about getting young women drunk for the purpose of exploiting them, I'd complain to the server about their choice of sponsors if I were EoFF's webmaster. *cough*
The proxy set up on the LAN I'm using stops virtually all ads (and nearly all online games too).
Yeah, and Girls Gone Wild sucks anyway. I mean...it's not exactly ALL THAT wild if they keep on doing the same thing over and over again. I'd like to see some girls knocking over a liquor store or getting in a shootout with the cops. That'd be wild.
So yeah, I've seen this ad a couple times and it suck suck sucks. Roogle, talk to the host plz![]()

I've always found it strangely ironic that one of the pop-ups here is advertising a pop-up stopper.
I really hate that one.
The Hosts file solution earlier works fine for me in Opera 5 and in Mozilla, no annoying extra popups when server not found etc.But it might be because I have a web server on my own PC, so I'm actually getting the normal 404s instead

Not irony, just good marketing.
The hosts things seems to work in Phoenix in Linux too, thankfully.
I've blocked all pop-ups and banners to sites I regularly go to. My advice to everyone is to send MS an email and tell them to put some sort of ad control options in IE7, doubtful though. *loves Phoenix*
I don't know if Roogle has the email for Gamesquad, but I sure as hell don't, and last time I checked the only email addresses in the webmaster email are the ones that I put in. So if you like, feel free to PM / email webmaster@eyesonff.com and tell us WHO we're meant to email, thanks.

EDIT: Snapshots and url's for the ads would be apprecciated, thanks.![]()

With Panicware's Pop-up Stopper, I get absolutely no ads, but I think I'll turn it off for a while so that I can see of these ads that I haven't seen before.
http://www.panicware.com if anyone wants to download it. It is free.
Hello Pika Art by Dr Unne ~~~ godhatesfraggles
Would somebody care to remind me where EoFF's pop-up ads are under? I just switched back to Windows XPee, so I lost my old hosts file.

If you use windows, put "0.0.0.0 adserver.gamesquad.net" or "127.0.0.1 adserver.gamesquad.net" in your Hosts file... you'll never see another ad here again
Thou'rt a prince.
Just to update on the situation, there hasn't really been a reply, so yeah. Try to deal with the ads for now by using one of the suggestions offered in this thread.
Sorry about the wait.
