The Yuffie Pet Peeve
I'm just curious if anyone feels the same as I do about Yuffie. Here goes.
She seems like a good character to use, however I never use her. The reason why? It's because she uses long range weapons that she uses by throwing them.... but when she does the throwing motion, the shuriken like objects NEVER LEAVE HER HAND! It's the goofiest thing ever!
Ok, sorry. I had to get that off my chest
It's just like equiping any charcter with long range materia and then watching them sit there and slash/poke their weapon into air and it somehow hits the enemy. Only she doesn't require materia for that.

Slash-All has a similar effect. Tifa, Cid and Cloud (amongst others) make fairly useless but showy movements with their weapons and manage to cause damage at the same time.
Yea, could've made it when they used slashed all shows the character cutting everyone in a 20 second sequence. Wouldnt that be cool!?Then each battle will be 20 seconds longer!
It's the same thing when Cloud slashes a flying creature. Half the time, there's no contact.
But wouldn't that mean you don't use any characters in the old FFs? They never even get close to the enemies!
Well, look at FF6 when Locke uses that boomerang type weapon, who's name eludes me. He throws it, it physically leaves his hand, hits the enemy, and comes all the way back to him. That's all I'm asking for Yuffie to be able to do

That reminds me. I can't figure out how Red XIII's Hairpin works. o.o;;
Red XIII kinda flips and head-butts somehow, those clips are attached to his head......
Eh......Red XIII's 'slash-all' maneouver is the worst, but Cloud and Tifa's '4x cut' are cool!
Never really gave it thought.but it is wierd.
