    Default Possible quote bug

    Numerous times when I've tried to quote a quote using the button below the post, it has either completely excluded the original quoted post, or only quoted the original quote and half of the post I'm trying to quote. x_x

    That is to say, if I were to try and quote:
    [q=o.O]
    [q=o.O]
    Test quote
    [/q]
    That was bad spam. >=O
    [/q]

    I would almost invariably come out with:
    -----------------------------------------
    [q=o.O]
    That was bad spam. >=O
    [/q]
    -----------------------------------------
    Or:
    -----------------------------------------
    [q=o.O]
    Test quote.
    [/q]

    [/QUOTE]
    -----------------------------------------

    Perhaps this is a bug. :mog:

    No, it's the way quote works. If you quote text that has a quote in it, the inside quote is deleted.

    I don't know how to change that, if it can be done at all, sorry.

    That also happens in PMs when you reply to a PM, eventually the quote tag will fail and you'll have a bunch of showing tags. Meh.

    The parser for vB code probably removes nested tags or something. I don't think it'd be easy messing with the regexes or whatever they use for the parser.

    Better yet just quote manually with some <i> </i> tags and a --Unne. I like that better than those ugly HR quote boxes anyways.
