Now....you guys should know who I'm gonna pick.... ^_^ The lovely Aeris/Aerith of course! Reason being that she, IMO, has the strongest will and she's got to be one of the bravest characters in the game.
But a VERY close second would be Sephiroth and Cloud.

Hey! i didnt think of making a shrine a shrine hmm... now i could put this here... and that there and um... whoa! im still posting! but neway i get obsessed with things so i rly prob shudnt start coz itll just get worse and worse and...wot the hell am i sayin? ive been replayin ff7 since 1999 its alredy as bad as it gets
same here, got it in '99 and i've played it a total of 15 times I think. and it has yet to lose its replay value, lol. and i'm gonna start number 16 this weekend, just for the hell of it.

you know when u fight sephiroth one on one with cloud alone and u automatically get omnislash? have u ever defended instead of omnislah? i had to try it i was level 82 so i though it would only do some 2500 or 3000 but noooooooooo it did 7380 holy !#^$%&* it almost killed me i don't know exactly how much i had left because i counter-attacked 8130 and killed him. well i just thought u should know that. anyway my vote is obviously for cloud.
FFVII will never lose its replay value. FFX did really quick, IX didnt, VIII i recently fell in love with. as for the others, i dunno, 6 was high replay value, but the others didnt do much for me
