    Grin Freya's Six Dragons....

What does it do? I could never figure it out, it always wasted 2 of my characters and did nothing to the other ones. I thought maybe it sacraficed the 2 characters to give the other 2 hp and mp, But I don't know. :/

[BTW: This is the 1000th post in ff9 forum. Well, according to the index.]

It has pretty random effects: sometimes it harms the enemy, sometimes the party. It might add health, do damage, or cause status changes.

    Freya's Six Dragons...

It will randomly cause one of six things to happen to your party (hence the name Six Dragons):

    Restore all HP
    Reduce HP to 1
    Leave HP as is

    Restore all MP
    Reduce MP to 1
    Leave MP as is

    ---

It's random, so I never really use that magic...

I really don't use Freya at all.

I use Freya, just not Six Dragons because its randomness is useless to me, especially with a maxed out Dragon Crest *drools*. I think that's what Kishi was refering to when he called you a sucker.

I use Freya, but I've never used her on the 4th disc. Well, I've used her now and then, so she could be the same level as everyone else.. but yeah. :\

My Dragon Crest is always weak. Don't you have to kill a lot of dragons to make it strong?

    Yes you do.
If you fight Grand Dragons for EXP it's useful. As you get wonderful EXP and you are powering it up.

From the second disc onward, Grand Dragons are the best source of experience. They give off lots of Gil, power up Dragon Crest whether Freya's in the party or not, and are exceedingly simple to kill using Quina's Level 5 Death spell.

So there's really no excuse to be on the fourth disc and have a weak Dragon Crest.

Exactly, but it is okay to be on the fourth disc and have a weak arse Thievery skill because stealing is just boring and it levels up slowly.

Just have Zidane steal once in each Grand Dragon battle. It gets there. Eventually.

In my current game, I'm trying to get some decent thievery going. I've stolen in almost every battle. Almost.

When it comes down to it, Frog Drop, Thievery, Dragons Crest and Shock. 9,999 damage each. If powered up correctly all will always do that much, apart from shock which does great damage anyway

I never bothered with frog drop, catching frogs was WAY too boring for me.

I loved catching frogs >=] But I never seemed to be able to get Quina's frog drop to do 9999 damage. ><
