I have recently learned that using the alert item will get you into a fight with the pink puffs when used in their room... my question is:

how do i aquire the alert item, now that i can no longer enter the tower of babil to steal one from the alert enemy? I havent found any place to buy it, and know of no other enemies it can be stolen/won from...
