I havent even played that much and I know the explination to that. Obviously, they just thought he died. He didnt really die. Thus he came back in the ending, hence Garnet's reaction. (I downloaded the endingOriginally posted by MJN SEIFER

No. Zidane is mortal (naturally) but he was meant to have a long lifespan - a 'normal' one, rather than something pre-determined like the Black Mages.
Zidane's only 16, Kuja is thirty-ish... since Zidane is the superior Genome, he'd naturally last longer.
at first i though 'chicobo' (ffviii) was a mistake, but then i realized that was just a baby chocobo. o damn. (SPOILER) umm...

she was dismissed before the temple collapsed. tseng offered to take her out to dinner and was then killed by sephiroth.

- Auron usually says "Farewell" only before he kills something. (I think). In the Sanubia Desert, when fighting a zu he says "Farewell" but the zu will just come down to the ground not actually die, and you have to hit it again before it dies.
- If Yuna summons then K.Oed characters get up and run off, then run back on again afterwards.
- Small thing, but it seemed a bit odd, I got attacked by a dark aeon and my characters kept making noises of pain even after they were KOed.
yea, i blitz aced zu, and he doesnt die. thats a major screw up there. i dunno if they did it on purpose, but its really annoying
