Ad aware deletes system files?
I'm not sure if ad aware's the cause, but numerous times in the past I've ran Adaware, rebooted, and found that the computer I was using no longer boots. The OS is winME (yeah yeah), and it only happens to winME computers...
has anyone had this issue?
The only false positive I've ever had with AdAware or Spybot S&D is Alexa, where they both indicate a file in the /web folder in the Windows folder. It's likely WinME or something else - you shouldn't be using WinME anyway if you can help it
