But yes, this kind of thing obviously the only reason FFX-2 sold so many copies. The only reason I'm getting it is because I like the battles.

God i hate people who say people only bought FFX-2 for the girls who dress skimpy (no more skimpy than the girls at my school) and I would think a lot of people bought it for the continuation of FFX I realise a lot of people in this forum are old FF fans who hated FFX but a lot of people thought it was the best FF yet (including many gamer magazines) I truely bought it cuz I wanted to see if there was a true way for (SPOILER)Tidus to come back even with the fayth gone im sure some people (lonely 50 year olds and horney 20 year olds) did buy it because of that but im sure when they had to start fighting there way through the battles just to see more of them they'd quickly loose intrest and just go but some adult movies...so stop bashing the game and live yer life...
Well FFX-2 is horrible regardless. I'd easily call it the worst series, I bought it for the same reason you did (and your thought is true, (SPOILER) he does come back at the end.) As for FFX, I loved every bit of it, except for the fact that it was almost an exact copy of FFVIII, character-wise of course.
I like both FFX & FFVIII too. But I don't understand how FFX is an exact copy of FFVIII characterwise. Please elaborate. I didn't find anybody as moody & dark as Squall in FFX. But I think Selfie can be Rikku's equivalent. Some say Zell is a lot like Tidus ( the energetic type).As for FFX, I loved every bit of it, except for the fact that it was almost an exact copy of FFVIII, character-wise of course.
I liked both of them as well...
What I meant is that the personality is quite similar between Tidus and Squall, and Yuna and Rinoa. Not so much of Yuna and Rinoa, but more of Tidus and Squall. They were both loners, losers, whiners, and changed a lot since the beginning of the game due to the love of of someone. Yuna and Rinoa, eh, they sorta played a part in the changing of the other two, that's pretty much it for them.
Other than the characters, I loved FFX, and FFVIII will always be one of of my favorites regardless. Hope that helps, if I need to explain more or if you saw something different, don't hesistate to tell me.
