Well, My copy has been preordered for months and the release date in New Brunswick Canada is November 4th and it hasn't changed, I asked Electronic Boutique... The book is supposed to come out a few days before even >.<

I went into "game" (the computer shop) about a month ago and i went to the section where they had all the ps2 games for sale and just below them they had a list of games that would be in stores soon for the ps2 and 1 of them was ffx-2, the date they gave for that was "september 11th". Seeing as this was game though
thats proberly not the proper release date, but i hope for once i hope they get the release date of a really anticipated game right.

People Realise!!!
Games such as FF CAN'T come out in europe before they come out in america, they have to be released in america, then converted into 6 european languages AFTER that, and then localised to PAL territories. Then they add on another few months to annoy us, then they release it.
FF X-2 will probably not be out in europe before 2006.

My guess would be that the European release date wouldn't be later then next summer. Optimistically, it could come as soon as Feb, maybe even earlier. Don't forget that for FFX, and I assume for FFX-2, there are only recorded two voice languages: Japanese and English (European versions have English voices and *insert language here* text). So, it'll only be the text and subtitles that would need to be translated, and that really shouldn't take all that long.

Don't shoot the messenger, and it's not like they really delayed it. They never stated an official release date until they said December. It was pure speculation up until then.

Places like Ebgames.com, etc just give a possible date that it could be released. It said underneath the description that the November date wasn't official.

So uh anyways don't yell at me because you're to lazy to read the fine print eternalshiva. ;p

I reserved it at GameStop and they told me it was going to be released on December 3rd.(In the U.S.)

UGH!! I find out today it's been moved back up to november, thinking it was set for a dec. release, I spent all my FFX2 money on a.....a........(SPOILER)PLEATHER TRENCH COAT!!!! [hot]

well i just got an email and it is set to be released on Nov 18th. YAY!!!!!!!!!!
