    Final Fantasy viii PC ¿?¿?

Hi, I've recently installed FFVIII PC , and I find the 640x480 resolution quite annoying, so I went to the control panel and enabled the 6xFSAA and the poligons look quite good now, but the screen look like if its been split in tiles (the prerendered backgrounds) so.. my question whas if there is any way to increase the resolution of the game to maybe 1024*768 or 1280*1024. Thanks .

    Im currently using a radeon9700pro.

You can only get what Square gave you with that game. Unless there's some unofficial patch I know nothing about. Anyway, 640x480 was quite acceptable when FF8 PC was released. You can find it as annoying as you want, but people still worship ol' Privateer - 320x200 256 colours or something.

On another note, I doubt FSAA was even a daydream when FF8 was made. Asking to have support for it NOW looks... silly in my eyes. Live with it, it's not like it's important.
