Wouldnt it be as good an idea to not have to click on the "add reply" link in order to have to post a reply.
In another forum i frequent there is just an empty text box at the end of every page and you can just type what you want in there and post it quickly instead of having to wait for the replying page to load up. If you want to put in smilies you gotta click on "add reply" link so its a good idea to have both ways to reply to a post.....no?

There is a 'quick reply' option that you can enable by editing your settings...
Yup, it's in the 'style set' category of 'Edit Options' in your user control panel. Quick reply am goal?
