Take the worst game elements ever, and put 'em all together. Add "Tactics" to the end of the Final Fantasy name, and you got yourself FFT.

portible rpgs are not my thing.. i can't get that attached to a game while on the run.. i would rather want them to remake all of them for ps1
yeah. i actually hate portable systems in general. the only reason why i have a gba sp is because i had a gift certificate to game stop, there were no games that i wanted (surprisingly), and i was going on a trip and need some to get some gaming in during the trip. other than that, i dont like them, cuz the batteries run low real quick, and u either have to recharge them or buy new ones. which can take a toll on your walet eventually. but if it were on ps1 that would be fine.
GBA releases of FFI-VI?
... I don't think that's a very good idea. I like to play my Final Fantasies from the comfort of my own room. Actually, I like to play any RPG's from the comfort of my own room. Which is a good reason for me to get Gameboy Player to play Golden Sun and Lunar on the big screen. I don't think Final Fantasy would be real good on those tiny Gameboy screens. Not to say I don't like the GBA or the games for it, I just don't like to play my RPG's on there.
By the way. I love Tactics.

There's not enough buttons and too many functions in IV and VI, so they couldn't really do it on a Game Boy, anyway.
Why would you want to put more ff games on game boy!!!!! All of the FF lands 1-3 sucked. This is coming from a person who has to play in the basement with the old playststion where its wet and cold!!! im a die hard fan, but gameboy just screws stuff up. Im all for releasing these game again but lets do it on a system not a hand held.
They should remake them on Gameboy at least NES games. A GBA cartridge could support FF1,2, and 3 with updated graphics.FF6 could use the R and L buttons for the X and Y missing on GBA. As many Super Nintendo games as they have done GBA you think they can't do more.

I think Final Fantasy would get more fan-fare if it were to bring back the old titles to GBA. A lot of little kids buy it mainly for Pokemon, so after they are done with that they'll be thirstyanother RPG, and for some tiny screen FF.
i dunno. i still think if it goes to gba, then its gonna be like pokemon, everyone is gonna like it at first and obsess over it. but as soon as another game comes out they forget all about it, and then make fun of the older gamers who still enjoy it. i liked pokemon way before it even came to the us, then it did, and it was one helluva fad. it'll be the same way with the ff games. and as i recall, ff1 was the only NES final fantasy. i never bought ff2, as i was too young to know anything about it when i lived in japan.
FF wouldn't be anything like Pokemon. One, it's already a well known and respected series, and two, it isn't backed up by a silly trading card game and TV show.

thats true. but the point was, that i liked it back when it just a series back in japan. as soon as it hit america, i knew it was doomed. i just dont want that to happen to final fantasy. besides, i'd think i would get a migrane after staring at such a small screen for over 6 hours. not to mention the batteries would die.
Wonderful thing about the SP is rechargable batteries, and the ability to play while recharging.
And Tactics is the best game ever! How can you say it melds the worst elements in games? It is probably one of the more challenging Final Fantasy games out right now, and it is also the funnest.
