As a matter of fact, I'd like to see a cap on the number of RMs who can be active at one time--that way, we'd have to de-RM people like Acmlm who never come around anymore in order to bump someone else up. And of course, that would wind up eventually nixing former mods as RMs, so I think it'd be an unpopular notion that I wouldn't be able to push through staff.
"quit" and "resign" have connotations of "screw you guys, I'm out of here." I don't plan on ever leaving like that. I'm not planning on staying on staff FOREVER, though. I think "retire" gets the idea across--an amicable departure, not someone getting fed up with whatever and storming off in a huff, like some former staffers whom I don't care to name.Originally posted by Gau
