Unlimited Saga

I was browsing Square's site and this Unlimited Saga business that I'd never heard of came up. It seems like a spinoff of Saga Frontier or something (I played 1, it sucked, but I heard 2 was awesome). Anyone know anything about it?

Yeah, the reviews aren't all too great. It's a weird interface that you have to go through to explore, and from what I hear, fighting is kind of like using a slot machine.
