Actually it was the most popular game besides FF7 and warranted a sequel. So I don't know what this so called fans who hate game?

sorry to burst a bubble of many of these so called fans (who needs enemies with fans like this): FF10 was a good game. If you want to see a lacking story, too much movie scenes, no memorable characters play Xenosaga on PS2 than get back with me on FFX.

And in my opinion the FF series wasn't as good till FF7.

Square and I laugh at you!!! You bought the game, you bought the game, you bought the game. Yeah you will buy FFX2 too won't you!!! And than you will hate it but too late Square has your money!!!! It a laugh to see little children rant about a game.

And FF1-VI were the most ugly RPGs of the time. Zelda and other games had their numbers. Please, even today FF1-FFVI combined can't compete in sales or fans of FF7, FF8, FF10 and now FFXI. FF10 alone had more sales than FF1-VI because they were not as good as other RPGs. Even on PS2 no one buys the updates! And these are facts!

your hole post is utter crap, the only reason ff10-2 is being made is due to ff11 and its long relase date and life span, ff10-2 was just something to do in the mean time, and just beacuse i dont like ff10 dosnt make me a "so called fan" i like final fantasy, just not this one and im not buying ff10-2 and not just beacuse of its low sales and bad reviews in japan, but beacuse i think its a truely bad game, the reason square sells so many copys is due to its products has become well known as any long time product on the market will after a time, so the more well known it is the more fans will buy the new games, not just beacuse there good, admitily i bought ff10 blindly beacuse it was ff and many fans have done the same, and finally yes square does have are money, and idoit can figure that one out beacuse sqaure like all companys is out for a profit. its no wonder ff1 had lower sales then ff10 and had crapper grahics and a moron can figure why, but you have failed that so i wont tell you ill let you figure out why on your own.

I agree. Of course the older RPGs didn't look as good. And to be honest who cares about graphics?! To me it's all about the storyline and gameplay that matters. Graphics are nice to look at, but not the most essential thing in an RPG.

X is my favorite, though I've played only VII, X and Tactics. I want to play I-IX though. BTW, I love old sprite graphics. One of many reasons why 8-Bit Theater rules... but that's off topic.

hhaa. u should definatley get IX. its really slow and boring at first, but u should get into it after u have access to the world map. and for FFX, theres alot of glitches/flaws in the game. alot of the people when they walk or stand , arent touching anything (wantz and save sphere in macalania, yuna when she preforms the sending at kilika... watch the fmv closely) thers more, but i forget where they are. it couldve been better, but its still one of my favs.

I thought the game was pretty good, but I thought the downfall of this game was the voice acting. The voices were decent, it's just need better acting...
